EHD/EHM is a monitoring program provided by the Court. While enrolled in the program, a location monitoring supervision tool that utilizes the Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system will be attached to your ankle. While enrolled, you are required to comply with a schedule, which can only be approved/modified by the Court.

No. EHD/EHM devices are wireless. The only requirement is a power source to charge the device’s battery daily.

Defendants are ordered to serve their sentence in the program via a Home Detention Order (HDOR) which is completed and signed in court.  Once approved, you have one (1) business day to contact FDS. Once contacted, enrollment will be scheduled for the next available appointment time. The enrollment process must be completed prior to your scheduled review hearing date.

Yes. You are responsible for paying all fees associated with enrollment in the program, unless otherwise ordered by the Court.

You must pay the Enrollment Fee plus 7 days of monitoring fees during your enrollment appointment. If you are sentenced to more than 7 days, you are required to make advanced weekly payments. FDS only accepts cash, money orders and credit/debit cards for payments.

If allowed by the HDOR, you can work, provided your employment is legal and verifiable. You are required to submit your work schedule and verification of employment during your enrollment appointment. In order to attend school while enrolled in the program, you must provide verification of enrollment and a current class schedule during your enrollment appointment.

You cannot change residences without the Court’s approval. You must reside at the address on the court order while enrolled in the program. Requests to reside at an address other than that on the HDOR requires court approval.

No. Defendants can reside outside of their County if allowed by the HDOR.
